[The mayor of Portoscuso in the province of Carbonia-Iglesias, Adriano Puddu, was placed under arrest by the Forestry and Sardinia Environment enforcement units, by order of Cagliari magistrate Giorgio Altieri acting on the request of PM Daniele Caria, for the crime of extortion in the investigation of the Portovesme wind energy facility.]

(Adnkronos)
