Residents and in around Skegness were left puzzled over the past week by a lack of movement from some of the wind turbines off the Skegness coast.
A spokesperson for Centrica, said: “Our 27 turbine Inner Dowsing wind farm off Skegness is not generating power currently due to a fault on a substation breaker at the onshore electrical substation at Middlemarsh in Skegness.
“Engineers are working on this problem and carrying out other works while that section of the substation is offline. Lynn is not affected.”
Power from the two wind farms is transmitted through separate equipment at the substation.
