I am sending this letter along in regards to the recent information I have received involving the construction of two huge wind turbines close to homes and schools in Fairhaven.
There are health concerns that have been brought up by Fairhaven town residents due to the close proximity of these wind turbines to homes and schools.
I would like to see a halt to the construction until all concerns are met and investigated. I live within two kilometers of these turbines. I am concerned about my property value and also a fire on these 400-foot tall turbines. I am downwind of these things and any fire would mean possible evacuation of my home.
Fairhaven is a beautiful town, the residents of Fairhaven want to keep it that way.
Wind turbines are needed but placed in an area that makes sense to everyone concerned, not just a few people looking out for themselves.
