Cape Cod Commission sets final Buzzards Bay wind farm hearing

BUZZARDS BAY – The full voting membership of the Cape Cod Commission in Barnstable will conduct a public hearing Jan. 15 into New Generation Wind’s controversial proposal to build a wind farm with three turbines north of Scenic Highway and one west of Route 25 at the Grazing Fields Farm boundary.
The commission invites public testimony in the final hearing. An agency sub-committee has not favorably recommended the turbine proposal to the land-use planning agency.
The hearing will be conducted at 3 p.m. in the First District Courthouse off Route 6A.
