Rights of way are under spotlight

Rights of way at a Neath Valley wind farm site are being monitored following a claim some have been closed.
Glynneath resident Roger Simmonds asked to speak at a town council meeting over the Maesgwyn site.
He was concerned that some of the paths had been blocked off, even though the planning consent stated they must be kept open, with some temporary exceptions.
He volunteered to monitor the situation himself, but asked if Glynneath Town Council would support him if the rights of way were not reopened.
Members decided to back Mr Simmonds, and asked him to attend a future meeting when the situation became clearer.
Maesgwyn Wind Farm is north of Glynneath, between the head of the Dulais Valley and the Upper Neath Valley.
Planning permission was granted for the 13 turbine development in 2007. The project company, Pennant Walters (Maesgwyn) is a joint venture between Pennant Walters and HSBC Infrastructure.
