Controversial plans to site a wind turbine in a North Devon school have been withdrawn.
Shebbear College was looking to install a turbine in the school grounds as part of its bid to become more sustainable.
The move had met with opposition from residents and the Campaign to Protect Rural England.
Torridge District Council confirmed the application had been withdrawn this week.
