Regarding the Dec. 3 article “Environmental groups fight wind farm,” some of the landowners who were united with the community in opposing the Navy’s Outlying Landing Field because it would take land, devalue land and homes, wipe out migratory waterfowl and create noise are now willing to divide the community, devalue their neighbors’ land and homes, wipe out the neighboring waterfowl and create noise and light in order that they can make easy money by leasing their land for industrial wind turbines. What happened to “Love Thy Neighbor”?
