An appeal has been lost against the erection of a wind monitoring mast 13km south of the Burra township.
The Regional Council of Goyder granted consent to the construction of the 80m tower by wind energy company Roaring 40s (now TRU Energy) last year.
Regional residents Bob Lamb, Ali Fricker, Hamish and Anna Dunn, Wayne and Tracey Mitchell and Jim and Ronda Dunstan launched the appeal against the monitoring tower as part of the Stony Gap Wind Farm development.
