A planning application to build a wind farm north east of Lauder in the Scottish Borders has been submitted.
PNE Wind UK wants to construct a total of 10 turbines at the Brunta Hill site.
The developers said they had “worked hard” to design a scheme which had taken into account the views of the local community.
Project manager Gilbert Stevenson said it was a “low impact wind farm, sensitively designed and appropriately sized” for the location.
The proposals for the development went on show to the public earlier this year.
Open days in Lauder and Westruther were staged with representatives of the company on hand to answer questions about the scheme.
