Campaigners fighting Frodsham wind farm could need more money after application changes

Fighting plans to build a giant wind farm could cost even more money after developers removed one of the turbines.

With less than two months before the public inquiry into the proposed wind farm on Frodsham Marshes, campaigners are being forced to make changes to their evidence after developers Peel Energy changed their plans.

Residents Against the Windfarm (RAW) are being forced to bin an expensive photo montage showing how the 20 turbines would impact on the landscape and character of the area due to fears it would be rejected by the inspector.

The inquiry into Peel Energy’s plans runs from November 22-December 23 at the Holiday Inn, Runcorn.
