Wind farm protesters were left delighted as plans for six turbines at Lilbourne were thrown out last night (Wednesday).
The plans put forward by Hemex were turned down by the planning committee of Daventry District Council. The 125 metre turbines planned for Yelvertoft Road had been recommended for approval by officials.
However, an application for two 71 metre wind turbines at White Barns Farm in Long Buckby was given planning permission.
For more on both of these decisions, see next week’s Daventry Express.
