Wind farm has interfered with TV reception

I read with interest your report in the Sunday Extra [Sept. 11] regarding complaints about TV reception since the building of the wind farm west of Sublette. We, too, have experienced poor, to intermittent, to nonexistent, reception of the Quad Cities’ stations since the turbines went up. We even invested in a new antenna in an attempt to alleviate the problem, with no improvement.
We did not object to the wind farm when it was proposed, but we certainly had no idea that the effects of the turbines would reach our household.
I suspect if you polled residents in the area, you would find far more people affected than those mentioned in your report. Most felt, as we did, that the wind farm was a done deal, and we would have no voice at this point.
