Salmond faces grilling over protection for home owners

First Minister Alex Salmond faces being grilled by a Highland campaigner next week over protection available to people who live near proposed windfarm sites.

Denise Davis, who is fighting for fair compensation for people whose homes have been targeted by firms, hopes to take up the issue with the SNP leader when the Scottish Cabinet meets in Elgin on Tuesday.

She is calling for action after a windfarm company made her an “obnoxious” offer of £400,000 to quit her home.
