HOLBROOK – Over the objections of nearby residents, Navajo County Supervisors approved extensions of special use permits for three meteorological towers about 10 miles northeast Heber, on land owned by Aztec Land and Cattle Co., LLC.
The board originally approved the permits July, 2010. In that time RES Americas have erected one of four proposed towers. They would like extension for the remaining three to June 30, 2013. They would then like to keep the towers in place until June 30, 2016.
