Campaigners fighting to stop the Cartland Muir windfarm have received a major cash boost to their fighting fund – and enjoyed themselves getting it!

They held a sell-out dinner dance in St Athanasius Hall in Carluke which saw around 120 residents and supporters not only having fun but raising a stunning £3500.

However, as they celebrated, yet further schemes to erect two more wind turbines on their doorstep emerged to add to the two at Cartland Muir they are fighting so hard to stop.
