Wind turbines are ugly, noisy and inefficient

The Desert Sun, www.mydesert.com 23 July 2011

Driving on Interstate 10 into the valley headed for the Palm Springs area used to be beautiful sight. Now the area is covered with hundreds of wind turbines that are just plain ugly, when compared to this part of the valley prior to wind turbine infestation, along with the fact they kill birds and are noisy.

When the wind varies, which is constantly, a backup system has to fill in the deficit left by the variable wind turbine output. So what are the backup systems that can provide enough variable energy to power the electrical generator? Dams, coal, oil, natural gas, nuclear reactors, etc. So why not continue these reliable sources of power instead of unreliable wind turbines, which are much more expensive?

The elites on the East Coast have no problem banning wind turbines on their side of the continent even when not visible from land offshore á la Robert F. Kennedy Jr. They seem to have no problem messing up our beautiful valley, á la solar panels. What’s fueling this? Global warming, one of the great hoaxes of all time.
