The police began on Thursday morning to drag activists away from the machines in Østerild.
Police went Thursday morning in time to clear the way for logging machines in Østerild Klitplantage for the establishment of a national test center for wind turbines.
But the 30-40 activists, who had already twice stopped the logging, once again did not give up.
The police put up a barrier, and so they tried to run the machines out. But they went no more than 50 meters before people began to run out in front of them. And after ten minutes in which eight policemen were trying to form a living wall, they abandoned the enterprise and drove away from there, says NORDJYSKE reporter Andreas Bjerre.
Police have now driven home to ponder what the next move against the activists should be.

Politiet måtte torsdag morgen slæbe aktivisterne væk i Østerild.
