An Aberdeenshire windfarm resumed operations yesterday after shutting down for four days following the unexplained death of a bullock.
The animal was found by John Wink, of Bainshole Farm, in a field at the 20-turbine Glens of Foudland site, near Huntly.
A post-mortem examination was not able to establish the cause of death, but the one-year-old bullock showed haemorrhaging around the heart, a possible sign of electrocution.
Operators Centrica took the windfarm off line on Thursday to allow for an investigation to be carried out.
