Falmouth selectmen meet tonight on turbines

FALMOUTH – The board of selectmen will continue its discussion on the town’s municipal wind turbines tonight.
The meeting, held at Falmouth High School, starts at 5:30 p.m. Discussion on the wind turbines is expected to begin at 7 p.m., according to Selectman Mary “Pat” Flynn, chairwoman. All those who signed up for public comment at the June 6 meeting but did not get a chance to speak will be scheduled during the first round of public comment. A second public comment session is scheduled at 9:40 p.m., according to the meeting agenda.
Selectmen will hear from engineering consultants Harris Miller Miller and Hanson in response to residents’ and engineers’ presentations at the June 6 meeting.
