Residents in Rosaveal in Connemara have voiced strong opposition to any designations that would allow for wind farms in the area.
There have been large crowds at two public meetings in Rosaveal – the latest this week – at which Connemara Councillors were asked to oppose any moves to facilitate wind energy developments.
