Councillors have been recommended to reject plans for a Borders wind farm scheme first submitted seven years ago.
The proposals for Broadmeadows Farm near Selkirk have been scaled back.
The original application was for 13 turbines but that has been reduced to eight by developer GreenPower Broadmeadows Ltd.
Planning officials have advised refusal saying the project would have a “significant adverse impact on the landscape character of the area”.
