Local governments have been busy crafting rules for wind turbines across northern Michigan, as both commercial and small-scale wind developers have been eager to build in some places.
One of the big questions is noise, how loud a turbine can be. Now one Harbor Springs wind turbine developer is crying foul, asking for a state investigation into Emmet County’s wind ordinance.
