TEMPLE – On Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. in the Temple Town Hall, the wind-power committee will hold an informational meeting to share with Temple citizens the work it has done so far in planning a wind-power ordinance for the town and to hear what kinds of provisions citizens would like to have contained in the ordinance.
Committee chair Robert Kimber said, “We’ve done quite a bit of homework studying wind-power ordinances other towns have prepared and passed. But now we feel it’s time for a community-wide discussion of the ordinance before we go ahead to write a draft to present to the town at a hearing later this summer, so we hope to have a good turnout for this meeting.”
A handout on this meeting and the committee’s work so far is available at the post office bulletin board.
