Noise and vibration abusing thousands

Credit:  www.thepost.ca 27 May 2011 ~~

The abuse of noise and vibration continues to bother thousands all over rural Ontario.

It’s not enough that Dalton McGuinty continues to ignore and allow this abuse to affect hundreds of our neighbors to the west and north, but he continues to give his seal of approval to hundreds more newly foreign owned industrial wind turbine (IWTs) plants.

While he allows this to contaminate most of rural Ontario, he brags about the jobs it will create in our near future, 60,000 at last count, and every time one picks up a newspaper or watches the evening news, the job’s total has jumped yet again.

If, like he tells us all, that this is the saving grace for Ontario, why then does he continue to insist that there will indeed be all of these jobs, when he knows perfectly well that once all the IWTs are built and deployed, it only takes a couple of men to service hundreds once every six months.

If one imagines that there will be 10,000 IWTs all over rural Ontario, it doesn’t take a math wizard to realize that only about 100 jobs will become a reality, and even those might be only part time as well, as wind plant owners do not like to share much with others.

Consider that hundreds of people are now homeless, after being forced from their homes due to noise and vibrations caused directly by these IWTs most, if not all have complained bitterly to the Ministry of the Environment, about noise invasion, mostly at night, but the ministry has just turned a blind eye to the whole thing.

People have also complained to the wind farm proponents, but without government help they just basically laugh at them.

These people are being tortured by these IWTs that’s not too strong a word for it, as ours and other armed forces around the globe declare that sleep deprivation, is indeed a form of torture.

Mr. McGuinty is well aware of the complaints from the hundreds of people living close to IWTs and is also very much aware that over one hundred thousand people in rural Ontario have asked that IWT’s be deployed at no less than 2 kilometers from their homes, for health and safety reasons.

Most people that live in rural Ontario are as green as any other and volunteer their time quite freely to protect it from any unseemly and wrongful invasion of any sort, so why is it then, that when they ask for simple rules and procedures to protect their families, they are both ignored by their liberal MPP’s and also their leader?

Could it be that Dalton McGuinty is the “only one” that has had some kind of vision, must be, as no one else including scientists agree with him, this could well be the end of the Liberal Party here in Ontario, and, just like the Federal Liberals, no one trusts their visions anymore either.
