Correction: Wind turbine moratorium removed from bill

The May 25 article titled Wind energy moratorium proposal passes in state House of Representatives stated that the bill compelling state agencies to draft regulations on wind turbines includes a moratorium on pending applications. According to the bill’s analysis from the Connecticut General Assembly’s website, the moratorium was reworded in an amendment offered by state representative Vickie Nardello. The relevant section now reads “The Connecticut Siting Council shall not act on any application or petition for siting of a wind turbine until after the adoption of regulations pursuant to subsection (a) of this section.”
