Where are rate breaks for users?

As a U.S. taxpayer, we give billions to these folks – Iberdrola and Atlantic Wind Farms – as benefactors (unproven) of the “green economy.” Then as state taxpayers we add millions to these subsidies or incentives as an additional sweetener. Finally, as county taxpayers, commissioners add several hundreds of thousands more. All this “candy” and not a “gumdrop” for the ratepayer. Power bills for electricity have been “halved” on some of their other projects.
Where are the taxpayers’ incentives in exchange for having visitors from out of the area passing the “desert” on U.S. Highway 17 to look at an expanse of propellers, with all their negative visual and economic intrusion into our beautiful counties, as far as the eye can see?
Spain has proved that wind power provides less than 2 percent of energy needs. When will the wasteful spending stop?
