Windmill farm developer urged to use corridor road

There is a windmill farm to be built on Ulupalakua Ranch. This will require hundreds of trips by large superload trucks to transport the mega-equipment to build the facility.

It is my understanding that Sempra Generations has been offered a corridor road through Honua’ula (Wailea 670) in lieu of using the surface roads through Wailea and Makena. Using the surface roads will cause major disruptions and congestion for the residents and tourists.

We hope Sempra will make the right decision in the best interest of the community and use the corridor roads.
