On March 9th 2011 at approximately 12:40 p.m., Vermont State Police from the Williston Barracks responded to Exit 13 on Interstate 89 where a tractor trailer with an oversized load slid off the exit ramp and became stuck in the snow.
The tractor trailer was hauling a portion of a tower for a wind turbine. The tractor trailer was blocking the entire north bound exit. It took three town rucks from Charlebois Trucking two hours to get the trailer back onto the roadway. Charlebois had to pull the trailer from the north bound on ramp from Interstate 189 and the State Police had to block that ramp as well. Inspectors from the DMV assisted with the incident.
