Police were called to eject protesters from a meeting in the Goyder Council chambers in Burra on Friday.

The Regional Council of Goyder Development Assessment Panel had convened its regular meeting when a member of the gallery left his seat and delivered a stream of abusive language.

The panel was considering an application from Waterloo Wind Farm developer Roaring 40s to erect a wind monitoring mast on the Burra Hills as part of the company’s proposed Stony Gap wind energy project.
