Escape may be the option left to turbine neighbors

I deeply sympathize with Falmouth residents and their problems with wind turbine noise; I once had terrible noise problems the Barnstable Municipal Airport.
My home was in West Yarmouth, probably less than a mile from the airport, directly in at least one flight path. The flights were steady all day long and most of the night, especially in summer. The planes sounded as though they were flying right through my attic.
I attended several meetings at the airport with other angry citizens who were unable to sleep, all of us distraught from stress and exhaustion caused by the incessant noise of low-flying planes at all hours of the day and night. Little was ever done about the noise. Airport officials simply listened, and closed the doors and turned off the lights after we all left.
The stress, pressure and strain from the noise took a toll on my health. Finally my physician directed me to sell my house, find a quiet place to live and move. That is what I did, and I was finally able to get some rest.
Maybe we should all just move away and leave the Cape to the airport and the wind turbines.
