Victorian Planning Minister Matthew Guy is expected to make a decision on a proposed three-turbine wind farm at Chepstowe, west of Ballarat, within two months.
The Minister called in the project from the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal last month and two days of hearings finished yesterday.
Greens’ MP Greg Barber will visit the site of the proposed wind farm today.
He says the renewable energy industry is worried the Minister will can the project.
“The Government have got a very hostile attitude to wind farms, so when the Minister comes in and intervenes on such a small project as this, everybody expects the worst,” he said.
