Bishop Hill board okay with half-mile windmill setbacks

Galva – The Village Board of Bishop Hill met in special session Thursday night, Feb. 3, to take action on the setback of pending wind turbines around the village.

The board unanimously voted to allow the wind turbines up to one-half mile from the village.

The full board was present and all signed a letter, along with Mayor Mike Funke, which was given to Tim Wells of the Henry County Board before the Henry County Board meeting Feb. 8.
