The campaign to stop 112-foot high wind turbine in the open countryside at Shavington continues next week.
The planning application was refused in September but an appeal hearing will now take place at the Municipal Buildings on February 15 in Crewe.
Councillor Brian Silvester said: “Councillor Simon and myself worked very closely with local residents and the parish council to get the original application overwhelmingly refused by the Southern Planning Committee of the Cheshire East Council.
“We will be making strong representations at the hearing to try to ensure that the appeal is rejected.
“The proposed wind turbine would be a blot on the landscape that would be visible for miles.
“We must fight hard to prevent our local landscape from being destroyed.”
The developers have said they want to provide ‘green energy’ for all the units at Blakelow Business Park, with any excess energy inputted into the National Grid.
