France announces wind turbines plan

France yesterday unveiled a €10 billion plan to build its first offshore wind project.
It will build 600 offshore wind turbines, said President Nicolas Sarkozy, adding they would be built in the western regions of Loire-Atlantique, Brittany and Normandy.
