EAST RIDING: A wind turbine proposal has been rejected as it will ruin residents’ quality of life.
East Riding Council deemed that the application for a 15-foot turbine on a farm in Ganstead Lane would cause noise pollution and destroy the scenery enjoyed by locals.
Brian Gill, planning chairman for Bilton Parish Council, said it was the right decision on the behalf of the local residents.
