Wind turbine controversy continues

Blue Ribbon Energy has received approval to install 27 wind turbines near the Goshen townsite, but the controversy surrounding the development isn’t over yet.

The company, whose project was approved on appeal to the Bingham County commissioners last month, is now moving into the second phase of its development. Officials are asking for a special use permit to install nine more wind turbines between 825 E. and 1000 E and 450 N. and 600 N., roughly one mile west of the previously approved location. But some people are already voicing concerns about the project.
