Wind energy picking up despite resistance

2010 was a year of record production for wind energy in Switzerland. Twenty-eight turbines are likely to have delivered enough electricity to supply around 21,000 households. The Swiss government set ambitious targets for increasing the amount of energy made in this way. But the road to renewable energy is a rocky one—and there’s plenty of dissenting voices along the way. WRS’s Jo Fahy reports:
