IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – BP Wind Energy reported that a windmill had been shot at twice, the Bonneville County, Idaho, Sheriff’s Office said.
The bullets hit the top of the windmill causing damage inside the housing.
The bullets damaged hoses, wiring, and other equipment with a damage cost of $5,000.
This type of vandalism is a felony.
A witness spotted the damage on Dec. 22.
