Metacomet Regional Wind Farm Committee to meet

MIDDLEFIELD – The Metacomet Regional Wind Farm Committee will meet Dec. 15 at the Middlefield Community Center at 7 p.m. to review wind study options.

The committee was formed to study the possibility of utilizing wind power in the Metacomet region. Earlier this year, the group applied for an American Reinvestment and Recovery Act grant to help fund a wind study of the Metacomet region, but the request for funds was denied.
