The Board of Selectmen inked a $58,700 contract with a Sandwich engineering firm Wednesday night to study the potential noise and visual impacts of the proposed Madaket wind turbine.
On a unanimous vote, the selectmen approved the contract with Atlantic Design Engineers, LLC, using funds from the town’s share of the Cape & Islands License Plate Fund.
The Madaket wind turbine is slated for property near the landfill.
