WYANET – Bradford Rescue Squad got some help from a crane operator to assist a man who was injured Thursday while working high above ground on a wind turbine south of Wyanet.
According to the rescue squad, the man was performing maintenance work on the turbine and was safely strapped in a harness when he injured his back by leaning too far in the harness. He was unable to climb down the wind turbine.
The rescue squad strapped the male to a back board and lowered him to the ground with help from a crane operator.
The patient was transported to Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
