Campaigners who are fighting controversial plans for a new wind farm near Burnham-On-Sea are to hold a public meeting this week.
The West Huntspill Wind Farm Action Group will be holding an open meeting at Puriton Village Hall on Thursday 4th November at 7.30pm.
“There is a lot of strong feeling about the proposals by Ecotricity to build five wind turbines at ‘Black Ditch’ in West Huntspill and EDF Energy’s further nine turnbines at Withy Grove, East Huntspill,” the group’s Julie Trott told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“This public meeting will provide a presentation of the facts and give the public an opportunity to discuss the issues.”
