Questionable practices

The possibility of deliberate destruction of public documents by County Planner Hanley Jenkins shows there must be hidden dealings going on between the county planner and Horizon. It seems to confirm what many have thought – not all is on the up and up.
How many pockets are being lined with greenbacks, and what sneaky dealings are being kept from the public? I believe what Mr. Jenkins did is against the law.
Last July, I wrote about a rancher up High Valley who found Horizon stakes on his land. Their name and address was on the tag, but they denied it was theirs.
On Aug. 3 or 4, Mark Gomes wrote a letter stating people should have a “full, clear and accurate picture before they make up their minds and some believe wind companies are pulling the wool over Eastern Oregon eyes regarding Antelope Ridge.” Well, Mr. Gomes, actions by Mr. Jenkins leave no doubt that they are.
Doug Lewis stated some of his neighbors are receiving $1.5 million per year for turbines on their land. How could he know that when the property owners signed secrecy statements saying they won’t reveal how much they’re receiving.
Are these the kind of people we want to deal with? Is there something rotten in Denmark?
