LITCHFIELD – NorthWind and Power President Patrick Doyle will debate Save Sauquoit Valley Views member Jonathan Knauth at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26 at the Litchfield Town Hall.
Town Board member Kate Entwistle will moderate the debate. Entwistle said she hopes the debate will help to clear up conflicting information about wind power.
NorthWind and Power of Albany, has proposed constructing an eight to 12 turbine wind farm on Dry Hill. The town has a moratorium on wind farms in place until March 2011 while board members work to develop a law that would govern wind farm development.
All questions for the debate must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours before the event. Questions can be submitted to Entwistle at klentwistle@gmail.com. She also can be reached at 269-3054.
