Pennsylvania man dies at construction site

A 40 year old Pennsylvania man died in South Dakota after being struck by a semi at a construction site for a wind project. The semi was unloading steel bars used to reinforce concrete. Action News is being told the accident happened Friday afternoon at Crow Lake wind farm just northwest of White Lake. McAdams was working for Wanzek construction. According to his obituary he would have celebrated his 18th wedding anniversary Thursday. He leaves behind his wife and four children – two daughters and two sons. The company sent this statement to Action News “The safety of our employees has always been our primary concern, and we are taking significant measures to prevent future accidents.”
