Comment period closing on Monhegan wind study project

Golden, Colo. – Comments will be accepted until Oct. 5 on a U.S. Department of Energy proposal to award funding to the University of Maine to construct, deploy and retrieve one-third scale floating wind turbines within the deepwater offshore wind test site in the Gulf of Maine approximately two miles south of Monhegan Island.
Comments should be sent to the address below, no later than Oct. 5.
