New wind turbine bid by power company

Five wind turbines up to 125m high could be sited on Todmorden Moor for 25 years if a planning application is successful.
Coronation Power has applied to install the turbines and ancillary infrastructure on land off Flower Scar Road, Todmorden.
Plans have been submitted to build seven houses and nine apartments on the site of the Burnley Road flats, Todmorden, by Ikon Investments and Developments UK LLP.
Forty allotments could be created on land to the rear of Reedacres in Mytholmroyd if plans are given the go-ahead.
Other planning applications submitted to Calderdale Council this week include:
Extension to existing dormer to west elevation, 8 Wainscot Close, Wadsworth, Hebden Bridge, for Mrs J Aveyard.
Detached triple garage with loft over, Greystones Farm, Greystones Road, Luddenden Foot, for Mr and Mrs R Phillips.
Fell one tree (tree preservation order), rear of Ewood Court, Midgley Road, Mytholmroyd, for Mrs S Hinton.
Five terraced dwellings, land at Pear Place, Todmorden, for KYE.
Replacement double glazed windows to rear (listed building consent), 34 Square Road, Todmorden, for Ms S Coventry.
Formation of gable, dormer extension to front and rear and new first floor window opening in side elevation (revised scheme to 10/00751), 2 Maple Street, Walsden, for Mr P Rigg.
Retaining wall to support existing drive, 33 Parkside Road, Todmorden, for Mr Brennan.
The 21 days for receipt of representations on these applications runs from September 24.
