Deer Run Wind Farm OK’d by board

Pontiac, Ill. – The Livingston County Board approved the special-use permit request for the Streator Deer Run Wind Farm during a special meeting Wednesday night.
The permit allows for the construction of 164 wind towers in Sunbury, Esmen and Newtown townships in northeastern Livingston County.
The board vote was 16-4 with four board members abstaining.
