Polish farmers deceived by wind farms?

Farmers from northern and western Poland have been signing agreements for leasing their land to wind farms on unfavourable terms and conditions, writes Nasz Dziennik daily. A contractual penalty for early termination of each of such lease agreements is almost a million zlotys, or 300,000 euros. Additionally, the agreements ban farmers from constructing any buildings in the vicinity of the windmills constructed on their land, Nasz Dziennik informs.
