Have the lunatics actually been let out of the asylum? What an abomination even to consider putting wind generators on this beautiful landscape.
I cannot stress enough that wind generation is the “basket case” of all renewables, and if there is any evidence at all to challenge this statement I would be very interested in hearing it . . . but I will not hold my breath, as they say.
I have worked at fossil-fuelled, hydro and nuclear power stations, and as such I am conversant with all types of generation. People should be fully aware that by magnitude there is no comparison between wind farms and a conventional power station – don’t just take my word for it, ask any professional electrical generation engineer.
